Add Omega-3 to Cookies
- To make a homemade cookie recipe healthier try replacing 1/4 to 1/2 cup of the white sugar with flaxseed meal. Flaxseed meal is an amazing source of fiber and omega-3 fats AND it adds a very light, nutty flavor and a light and crispy texture to your cookies. Heck, any recipe could be healthier with this addition.
Never Lose Another Baby Sock
- Get yourself a lingerie laundry bag and use a diaper pin to attach it to your baby's laundry basket. Now you can place the dirty socks directly into the bag then the bag full of socks directly into the washer. You'll never have to search for a tiny little baby or toddler sock again!
Sneaky Greens
- Since children seem to have a genetic code that tells them to avoid eating anything green you may have to resort to alternative measures to get these goodies into them. I have one word for you... popsicles! Pick a few of your favorite superfood greens (mine are kale, parsley and avocado) puree them along with your child's favorite fruit, and freeze them in popsicle molds. If you need to thin it out you can use water or if you need a little sweetness use a small amount of pure fruit juice or better yet raw honey!
